The Christian Advice Site has finally launched the brand new Advice Forum.  After testing out different options, we have settled on a system that gives a very user-friendly interface while allowing for a great deal of customization and interaction.  Features of the new Advice Forum include:

• Ability to customize user profiles
• Ability to upload pictures and avatars
• Send messages from one user to another
• Block messages from specific users
• View profiles of other members, as well as choose what information to show
• Easily report offensive messages or forum posts to the Admin
• Start discussions, create polls, upload files and photos for sharing

To access the Advice Forum, you may click on the link in the main menu or type http://christianadvicesite.com/forum into your browser.  Once there, click on "register" to sign up and start interacting.  After your registration is completed, sign in and click on "Profile" to update your public profile, add an avatar and forum signature, and set your preferred notifications.    

With this new forum, we have also returned to requiring users to register before posting.  The brief trial of allowing guests to post resulted in Admin deleting spam links, prescription drug advertisements, and finally pornography site promotions.  In an effort to control this type of offensive and unwanted content, only registered users will be able to post to the Advice Forum, although anyone can view it.
