My last post was about my father's visit to the oncologist and the surgery he will be having.  We are leaving Wednesday to head for UAB where he will undergo the procedure on Thursday.  Please be in prayer safe travel for us and a successful surgery for my dad.

I was blessed by a friend at church who loaned me his laptop for the trip, so I won't be totally cut off from my work and this site.  Continue to leave your prayer requests and e-mail your concerns or questions to me.  It may take me a little longer than normal to respond, but at least it won't be a week.  Thanks, Dan!

UPDATED: My father was in surgery for seven hours and came through it pretty well.  We are all home safe and sound.  Thank you to everyone who sent up prayers.
