Isaiah

I have been reading Isaiah over the last couple of days.  Boy is this a tough book of the Bible!  The unfamiliar place names make it hard to keep up with, not to mention the doomsday tone it starts with.  I know it is one of the prophetic books, and an important one, but I still have a hard time sticking with it. 

Does anyone have any recommendations for making Isaiah easier to follow?
