The newest project from writer and Christian poet April Gilford: Living for Christ, Serving Our Country: Christian Women in the Military.  Christian women in all branches of the military now have the opportunity to share their stories of how faith in Jesus Christ comforted, healed, led and inspired them.

If you are a Christian woman who is or has been in the military, I want to hear your story!  Tell me how you coped with separation from your loved ones.  How did God urge you to serve your country?  Have you faced a combat situation when you felt only the protection of the Lord brought you through?  Share with others how your Bible or military clergy member helped you deal with temptation, loneliness, frustration or disappointment.  Share how Jesus Christ lifted you up, brought you joy, or comforted you.

Living for Christ, Serving Our Country: Christian Women in the Military is a collection of inspirational true stories to honor Christian military women, inspire others who are serving, and connect with women marching with Christ around the world.
